April 29, 2010     First day for early voting at the Auditor’s Office for the 2010 Primary Election.

May 24, 2010      Worry-Free Postmark Date – Mailed voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before today to be considered on time to pre-register for the 2010 Primary Election.

May 29, 2010      Primary Election Voter Pre-registration Deadline, 5 pm:  Last day to register to vote before the 2010 Primary Election without additional requirements.

May 29, 2010      Auditor’s Office open from 8 am to 5 pm.

June 4, 2010       Last day to request an absentee ballot by mail for the 2010 Primary Election.

June 4, 2010       Auditor’s Office open until 5 p.m.

June 5, 2010       Auditor’s Office open from 9 am until 5 pm.

June 7, 2010       Absentee ballots being returned by mail must be postmarked by today to be counted in the 2010 Primary Election.

June 7, 2010       Last day for early voting at the Auditor’s Office.

June 8, 2010       Primary Election Day.  Polls open 7 am until 9 pm.

2010 GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION

 

July 26, 2010       State and Federal Candidates Filing Begins for the 2010 General Election:  First Day for
                                non-party organizations and candidates nominated by petition to file nomination papers
                                for state and federal offices with the Secretary of State.

August 2, 2010   County Candidate Filing Begins for the 2010 General Election:  First Day for non-party
                                organizations and candidates nominated by petition to file nomination papers for
                                county and township offices with the county auditor.

August 13, 2010  State and Federal Filing Deadline, 5 pm:  Last day to file nomination papers with the
                                Secretary of State.

August 25, 2010  County Filing Deadline, 5 pm:  Last day to file nomination papers for county offices
                                with the county auditor.

September 23, 2010        First Day for early voting at the Auditor’s Office for the 2010 General Election.

October 18, 2010  Worry-Free Postmark Date:  Mailed voter registration forms must be postmarked on
