DUE TO THE PRESENT ROAD CONDITIONS DAVIS COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES
HAS ISSUED THIS BULLETIN:
Following
are the emergency procedures:
DISPATCH: You will be asked to provide the best route to your
residence or location of emergency as well as your 911 address. The best
route is not necessarily the shortest route, but the one with the best
passable roads. Please remember that poor road conditions may increase
response time of emergency vehicles. Call for assistance
at the first onset of a serious health issue or emergency situation.
FIRE: Fire response protocol
has been changed to include two departments from different areas to be
dispatched upon a 911 call. All county fire departments will initially
respond with four-wheel drive fire trucks.
MEDICAL: Davis County Emergency
Medical Services will respond with support vehicles to transport staff
and emergency equipment. If you have a health condition that may require
emergency services and are concerned about emergency response time, you
might consider temporarily relocating to a more accessible location.
Public Health; Home and Community Health
staff will schedule appointments with clients in rural areas early in
the mornings while roads are accessible. Clients will be contacted as
schedules change due to travel limitations.
LAW ENFORCEMENT: Davis County
law enforcements personnel will be dispatched to all emergency
situations at the time of the 911 call to assist with transportation
issues.
SCHOOLS: Davis County Schools
are running buses on hard surfaces only until roads become passable.
