property and mobile home taxes, special assessments and drainage tax
SEPTEMBER - First half property
taxes due September 1, delinquent after September 30
OCTOBER - First half property
taxes delinquent as of October 1. Interest accrues at the rate of 1.5%
per month (rounded to nearest dollar- $1.00 minimum)
October 15
- Tax sale investors may pay subsequent delinquent taxes on outstanding
tax sale certificates
NOVEMBER - Delinquent notices are
mailed to property owners with outstanding September taxes
JANUARY - Senior Citizen/Disabled
Credit and Rent Reimbursement forms become available. Individuals can
apply between January 1 and June 1
MARCH - Second half property
taxes due March 1, delinquent after March 31
APRIL - Second half property
taxes delinquent as of April 1. Interest accrues at the rate of 1.5% per
month (rounded to nearest dollar-$1.00 minimum)
April 15 -
Tax sale investors may pay subsequent delinquent taxes on outstanding
tax sale certificates
MAY - Tax sale delinquent notices
are mailed to owners with outstanding taxes
JUNE - Senior Citizen/Disabled
Credit forms are due by June 1
