Welcome to the Davis County Treasurer's Office
The Treasurer oversees all county funds and handles investment functions, prepares and delivers tax statements to taxpayers, processes vehicle registrations, and issues drivers' license.

NEWS FROM YOUR COUNTY TREASURER

Tax Statements are mailed the first week of August each year. First half tax payments will be due on September 1,  and become delinquent on October 1. Second half payments will be due on March 1 and become delinquent April 1.  Davis County offers the ability to pay your delinquent property taxes on-line. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 641-664-2155

 Renew Your Vehicle On Line Now! Follow the Link Below

Vehicle registration renewals can be processed the month before, the month of, and the month after the expiration month. You are eligible to renew online if you received a renewal notice through the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number for online renewals. Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal.

  IMPORTANT DATES:

JULY- Beginning of fiscal year

AUGUST - Fiscal year property taxes are certified Mailing of property and mobile home taxes, special assessments and drainage tax

SEPTEMBER - First half property taxes due September 1, delinquent after September 30

OCTOBER - First half property taxes delinquent as of October 1. Interest accrues at the rate of 1.5% per month (rounded to nearest dollar- $1.00 minimum) October 15 - Tax sale investors may pay subsequent delinquent taxes on outstanding tax sale certificates

JANUARY - Senior Citizen/Disabled Credit and Rent Reimbursement forms become available. Individuals can apply between January 1 and June 1

FEBRUARY - Delinquent notices are mailed to property owners with outstanding September taxes

MARCH - Second half property taxes due March 1, delinquent after March 31

APRIL - Second half property taxes delinquent as of April 1. Interest accrues at the rate of 1.5% per month (rounded to nearest dollar-$1.00 minimum) April 15 - Tax sale investors may pay subsequent delinquent taxes on outstanding tax sale certificates

MAY - Tax sale delinquent notices are mailed to owners with outstanding taxes

JUNE - Senior Citizen/Disabled Credit forms are due by June 1 Annual Tax Sale is held at 10:00 AM on the third Monday
